Children have learned 5 ways to spelled the /ǝ/+/l/ sound: ul, al, il, el, and le. In this work, they sort words based on the spelling of the /ǝ/+/l/ sound.

After sorting the words, children can copy them to paper and circle the letter(s) that spell the sound /ǝ/+/l/.
